Sevan's identity is jewellery design. Sevan, who is of Armenian descent and was born in Istanbul, began his full-time apprenticeship at the age 10 with one of Istanbul's most prestigious jewellery houses. Equipped with a fantastic array of skills and dreams of a better life, Sevan emigrated to Canada as a teenager with just $250 in his pocket. In just a few years, he became the most sought after jeweller in Toronto. Design by Sevan, the premier diamond engagement ring shop in Toronto's Fashion District, has been around for 20 years.
