While this is a nice facility, the monthly $9,000 price originally quoted to my parents increased to $11,500. Part of the increase was that my parents couldn’t be trusted to take their own medication. It’s basically a scam in which older people are presented with a positive picture, but not informed about the actual pricing.
My grandmother has been living here for a little over a year and she absolutely loves it. Every visit I have with her, she goes on and on about how she loves all the staff, her apartment, meals, view and activities. Every time I visit her, the staff is so kind and always smiles on their faces. I’ve never heard a complaint from my grandmother about Ivy Park. This place has a very homey-like atmosphere. I always look forward to visiting this beautiful community and my grandmother.
